I’m so Lucky

I really am. I have, what I think to be, the best girlfriend ever. Period.

She came in to town today, making her first long solo trip from Brownwood to San Antonio, and she did so successfully. What a gal. We went to Dave and Busters tonight to eat some dinner, cause Jackie thinks their food looks good in the commercials/website. And in fact they do have good food. I had the Cajun Shrimp Alfredo and she had the Parmesan Chicken Alfredo. Amazing. Then for desert, cause Jackie is a big fan of deserts, and I must say she generally has good taste when it comes to picking them out. Tonight we had chocolate fondue with strawberrys, marshmallows, graham crackers, pound cake, and bananas. Pretty much amazing. This was all a bit expensive, but she is worth spending money on. Then we drove down to Broadway Street to go to this cool little Half-Price Bookstore, my new favorite bookstore. Its such a small space full of books. I love it. It makes me think of my senior English teacher, Mr. Fleming’s, room. Its an old old building, so the floors creak and the stairs do too, yep, they have an upstairs. I just fell in love with this place, and if I had a car I’d be there real often.

After this store we came back to campus and hung out here for sometime together, just to be together. Man I love her so much. We got to talk about our future, and what life could be like when she graduates this coming semester: us going to the same church, being married (at some point), and just all the things that come with that. It was such an encouraging time with her. She’s amazing. Did I say that already?

Oh, and I bought two new books from the store, well three technically. Around the World In Eighty Days by Jules Vern and then a book with Call of the Wild and White Fang by Jack London.  I have so much to read, but lately I’ve been captivated by reading, so I’m sure it’ll all work out.

Its been a good night, and I look forward to tomorrow night, cause I’ll get to see her again :) .
