So close, yet so far!

Today could have been one of the coolest days of my life. Hands down. But it wasn’t.
Why you ask? Well let me tell you.
So I’ve been following @donaldmilleris on twitter since I found out he had one. That’s the author Donald Miller, for those who don’t know. I’m a big fan of his books: Blue [...]

Recently the magazine Texas Monthly published an article about the top 25 swimming holes in the state of Texas. These ranged from the literal swimming hole to even water parks. This article was published at a prime time, when the heat of the summer is at its highest of the season and when people are [...]

Breaking Bread with a Man of Many Talents

People have always fascinated me. Any kind of people. I find interest in people who spend their lives in and out of prison, people who have traveled the world over, people who live to experience, and people who’s lives are full of stories from all they have done. Today I was lucky enough, though it [...]

Divine Sense of Humor

I’ve titled this post “Divine Sense of Humor” simply because I can think of nothing better, but check this out.
So one thing I really enjoy about summer time are the great sunsets we have here in South Central Texas. The sky turns shades of red, purple, and orange that just contrast the dark green pastures [...]

All in all, I didn’t get much for this cube, but it’s still profit for me, cause it was a double that [...]

I was intrigued by the title simply because it’s a cross country trip. My heart desires to someday take a trip much [...]

Huge Refrigerators

Loredo, Texas, was good to me this weekend.
I went with our Baptist Student Ministry to work with a group of kids from FBC Lordeo. We worked through some material on sexual purity from a program called True Love Waits. It was a great opportunity to work with some teenage guys and inform them about [...]

Short Praising

Following up my Short Ranting with some praises that I’ve had this week so far.
So it is Spring Break here at UTSA, and I’ve been here by myself in the room so I’ve had some time to fill lately. My goal was to make it to the gym this week and get used to it [...]

Send in the Clowns

So, I was scouring the good ol’ Internet tonight and came across this pretty cool article about clowns. We all envision them at circuses and parades, but what about at funerals? This month, in London, there was about 350 clowns gathered to remember the “Father of Modern Clowns.”
